Congratulations on the purchase of your new Singer product. It reflects the precise manufacturing and quality control standards of one of the world’s leading brands. You also have the peace of mind in knowing that your product is covered by Singer’s Standard Warranty. Our Standard Warranty on Singer products is 12 months from date of purchase, when used for normal household or domestic purposes and 90 days for all other uses, against defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship. The benefits given to you in Singer’s Standard Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under State and Federal legislation. Singer products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian and New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and or compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


Warranty Conditions


EXTENDED WARRANTY (Domestic / Household users only)


In addition to the Singer Standard Warranty, against defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship, domestic users will be granted an extended warranty, as detailed below*, provided you register your warranty online at www.singerco.com.au/product-registration Non-domestic use is 90 days from date of purchase and no further extension applies.


*Mechanical Sewing Machines and Overlockers 3 year warranty includes:

1st year – warranty parts and warranty labour free of charge 2nd and 3rd year – all warranty parts will be provided free of charge.


*Electronic Sewing Machines 5 year warranty includes:
1st and 2nd year – warranty parts and warranty labour provided free of charge 3rd -5th year – all warranty parts will be provided free of charge.


The warranty does not include consumable items such as belts, hooks, light bulbs, needles, needle plates, knives, loopers and does not cover faults caused by abuse or misuse of the machine or accidental damage or loss. Freight and insurance to and from the place of service is the responsibility of the owner and warranty automatically becomes void if any adjustment, part replacement or repair is carried out by any person other than an authorized service representative, or the product is not serviced in accordance with the instruction manual. The warranty applies only to the original owner and to those machines purchased through an authorised Singer retailer. Warranty is not transferrable in the event the product is sold or otherwise disposed of. Please retain the original packaging for safe transporting in case warranty is required. Please note when purchasing machines online and out of your area, for any warranty or support issues your machine needs to be returned to your original place of purchase.

At Blessington, we aim to dispatch all orders received by 10am on the same day. 

We offer live shipping rates – whereby we calculate live rates in real-time based on the size and weight of the shipment. Customers will see multiple shipping options along with couriers available to them at checkout so that you have the freedom to choose the best option to suit your needs and budget!


Express Shipping: Our express shipping option is the fastest way to receive your order. 

Standard Shipping: Our standard shipping option is the most economical choice for most orders and depending upon your location, can take anywhere between 2 – 10 business days.  


Please note that we do not ship to PO boxes. If you need to ship to a PO box, please contact us and we will do our best to find an alternative solution.

Returns Policy


To return an item for a refund or exchange, please ensure the following applies to the product you wish to return:

 

Change of mind:

 

We cannot refund or exchange goods for change of mind or errors you made in your order. We may at our sole discretion, allow a return for refund on a case-by-case basis, provided the item in question is:

  1. Returned within 14 days of order;
  2. Not used (and within original packaging);
  3. Not damaged in any way.
  4. Proof of purchase must be provided.

If we allow a return in these circumstances, we will ask you to follow our returns process.
We will provide you with a refund only when we receive the returned product. You are responsible for the payment of return postage.

  

Faulty / Defective

 

In the instance of suspected faulty or defective product, assessment by the Service department is required

Refunds can only be made on defective stock.

 

If your item is eligible for a refund, the refund will be issued within 5 business day after receipt the returned product.
